Do you need healing today? Perhaps you need a financial miracle or a solution to a situation that has been troubling you for a long time. In mainstream Christianity, we are told it is enough to just believe in Jesus dying for us on a cross, and then everything will be ok. But is this what the Bible teaches?
The Bible is filled with promises of healing, provision, and success. Proverbs 3:8, 4:22, Psalms 23, Psalms 91, 1. These five verses are just examples of the magnitude of promises the Bible contains. So it is no doubt about it, our Elohim (God) Yahweh wants His people to be healed, provided for and protected. We even see this in the new testament when Yeshua (Jesus) tells us not to worry (Matthew 6:25-34) and promises us a life where all our needs will be met.
Our Elohim Yahweh promises to fulfill all of these promises to us if we are His chosen people. He will not do this for those who are not His chosen people. So the question is, how do you become a member of Gods elected people?
There is only one way to be chosen by Yahweh, and it is not through faith in what Yeshua did for you at the cross. You have to obey His Mosaic law, the Torah (Exodus 19:5). And because you have already broken His law, you have to believe in what Yeshua did for you at the cross (John 3:16, Lev 17:11)
Obedience to the Mosaic law + faith in the cross = chosen by Yahweh regardless of bloodline and ancestry (Rom 2:29)
There are two ways to obey a law. You can do it with pleasure and joy because you love Yahweh who has died for you on the cross, or you can do it out of fear and with hard labor.
We should have a healthy fear and respect of Yahweh. After all, Yeshua is the same Elohim (God) who killed several thousand in the desert and firebombed an entire city because of their sin. But we should not be scared of Him. If we have accepted what He did for us on the cross, that should make us love Him so much that we would want to obey His law out of love for Him.
Psalm 1 says the person who obeys and loves the Torah is blessed. The person who follows the Torah because he has to is not blessed.
So to be a chosen one of Yahweh you have to love Him enough to obey Him. And if you love Him, you will know that what matters to HIm and is essential to Him. So you will know He cares deeply about His law, and because you love Him, you will choose to love His law and obey it.
If you do this, the Bible promises you the life of Deut 28:1-13 and Matthew 6:25-34. It does not guarantee you a carefree life, but a life where you will see that Yeshua who freed our forefathers from Egypt is more than willing to part the Red Sea again in your life.
In fact, He longs to do great miracles and free His chosen people so glory can be brought to His name. So make sure you bring glory to Him today by being a chosen one of Yahweh who believes Yeshua died for you and chose out of love to obey the Torah.
