The Bible says in Genesis 1:27 we are made in the image of Yehovah. Our emotions are His inventions, so we know He has feelings as well. The Bible says Yehovah can be angry (Rom 1:18) and His heart can be broken by grief when He is rejected (Luke 19:41). How do you react when someone you love has no interest in you, only what you can give them? It makes you sad, disappointed, angry and heartbroken. If we are made in the image of Yehovah, it is only logical that He can be heartbroken, angry and sad when someone wants things from Him but takes no interest in Him as God.
Yehovah loves righteousness (Psalm 45:7). In fact, He loves it so much that the Bible says He is righteousness. (Psalm 11:7). What is righteousness? Is it just believing Yeshua died for you on the cross? 1.John 3:7 and James 2:14-26 says righteousness is obedience to the law of Moses. So now we understand why 1.John 2:6 says anyone who claims to be in Yeshua (Jesus Christ) must do what He did. What did Yeshua do? He kept all the commandments in the law of Moses that applied to Him. So to be righteous, and to be one with Yeshua, we have to obey the law of Moses.
I know some of you have been told “its difficult and impossible to obey the law” or “Jesus came to free us from the law of Moses.” Those two sentences and sentences like them are a lie. When people believe that lie they are not allowed to be righteous and one with Yeshua. Our salvation depends upon our righteousness and our oneness with Yeshua. So its easy to see where this lies come from. The devil does not want you to be one with Yeshua; he does not want you to be righteous. And he knows that by making you believe the lie you can not obey the law of Moses or the lie that says Yeshua came to free you from the law of Moses, he can keep you from being saved. We have to remember the Bible says in 1.John 5:3 it is easy to obey the law of Moses.
Yehovah loves righteousness and hates unrighteousness. So we know from the Bible, Yehovah hates the lie that says the law of Moses has been done away with and He hates the lie that says we can not keep the law. When a person believes the lies about the law of Moses, they reject the very core of who Yehovah is. A person who prays in the name of Jesus, but does not obey the law of Moses, has no interest in Yehovah. They only want what He can give them. How would you feel if someone you loved deeply and passionately had no interest in you only what you could give them? How do you think Yehovah feels when a person asks Him for healing, prosperity, protection, guidance, deliverance, baptism of the Holy Spirit but has no interest in Him and who He is? It breaks His heart, and it kindles His wrath.
Yesterday in church you saw people having their prayers answered, and maybe you had your prayers answered. How did Yehovah feel when you had no interest in Him and righteousness, you only wanted Him to heal you, provide for you, protect you in this week and guide you? It broke His heart. He loves you so much that He was willing to die for you to make sure you could become His son or daughter again. He loves you that much, and you reject Him by choosing to reject righteousness? Is it any wonder your life is not what it should be, and your prayers are sometimes not answered? Why should He answer your prayers when you don’t want anything to do with Him?
I know about 99% of you have rejected Him out of ignorance. You have believed what your pastor or that evangelist on TV told you about the law of Moses and you have never taken the time to look and see if this matches up with the word of Yehovah or if it is a lie.But now that you know the truth what the Bible says, Yehovah expects you to obey His law and take an interest in Him. And if you do, He promises to bless you beyond what you could ever imagine or think of (Deut 28:1-13)
There is another way to reject Yehovah, and that is by only being interested in the cross. Don’t get me wrong; we can not live without the cross of Christ. It is and will always be the most crucial thing in our lives and our existence. Without the Blood and the death of Yeshua, we will be eternally lost. But the cross of Christ was only for our reconciliation to Yehovah and atonement for our sins. It was never meant to solve all the other problems in our lives. Remember what Yeshua says in Matthew 6:25-34. He says that if we seek first the Kingdom of Yehovah and His righteousness, all these things will be added unto us. What is righteousness? 1.John 3:7, James 2:14-26, Deut 28:1-13 says righteousness is obedience to the law of Moses.
So when you in church yesterday worshiped Jesus and prayed to Him and asked Him to heal you, provide for you and meet your needs the Bible was trying to tell you not to pray to Jesus. Yeshua Himself taught us in Matthew 6:5-15 to pray to our Father. Who is our Father? Yehovah is our Father. In Matthew 6:25-34 Yeshua is not telling us He will provide what we need. He says in Matthew 6:8 our Father knows what we need, and He is ready to give us what we need. Who is our Father? Yehovah is our Father.
So what Yeshua is saying is this: Do not ask Me to meet your needs. Ask Yehovah to meet them, but make sure you are one with Him and Me by being righteous. And once more, what is righteousness? 1.John 3:7, James 2:14-26, Deut 28:1-13, righteousness is obedience to the law of Moses.
How do you feel when someone is only interested in you for one thing? They don’t care really about who you are as a person; they only care about one side of you? Ask any celebrity, and they will tell you how that feels when people are only interested in you for what you have done for them, but they don’t care about the rest of you. It feels somewhat disappointing, sad and hurtful.
Genesis 1:27 says we are made in the image of Yehovah. So if you feel sad, hurtful and disappointed when someone does not care about who you are, imagine how Yehovah must feel.
We have to accept what the Bible says instead of what we are taught in church. Rom 10:9,13, John 1, 8:58 says that Yeshua is Yehovah (God). Yeshua never tells us to worship Him or to pray to Him. He teaches us to worship Yehovah and to pray to Yehovah. He teaches us that it is Yehovah who will heal us, meet our needs and provide for us and hear our prayers on account of two things: Our righteousness which can only come through obedience to the law of Moses, and our faith in what Yeshua did for us at the cross and His Blood as atonement for our sins.
When we are only focused on the cross and Yeshua, or we reject righteousness by believing we cant keep the law / the law has been done away with, we are in fact rejecting Yehovah. That breaks His heart. So stop breaking the heart of Yehovah, your life will change.
