Are you satisfied with your life? Is there something in your life you would have liked to change? Your life is constructed of what you consciously and subconsciously believe about yourself and your circumstances. Change in your life starts with changing your beliefs. We find this in the Bible in James 2:10-26 when it tells us we will always act on what we believe. Faith will always produce works, negative or positive according to the Bible. If you believe it is impossible to lose weight, you will act on your faith, and for you, it will become impossible. Do you want to lose weight? Change what you believe and start acting on your new faith, soon you will see it is possible for you to lose weight. Do you have financial challenges and you are unable to pay your bills on time? Change what you believe about money and your relationship to money, soon you will see you are well able to pay your bills on time.
Is it sot easy? Just change what you believe, and your life will change? The Bible says so in James 2:10-26.
Your life right now is a product of the choices you made in the past, the choices you made in the past is a product of what you believe consciously and subconsciously about yourself and your circumstances. Some of those beliefs are buried so deep within our psyche we are not aware of them ourselves. Others are easier to recognize, but they all have the power to control your life and the decisions you make.
The Bible says in James 1:6 and Mark 11:23 when we pray we have to pray with faith believing Yehovah (God) will answer. What you believe consciously and subconsciously about yourself and your circumstances have the power to steal your faith and hinder your answers to prayer. If you pray for healing, but deep down inside you believe you are not worthy to be healed, you will pray prayers without faith. If you pray without faith, your prayers will not be answered.
The Bible says in James 2:10-26 we always act on what we believe about ourselves and our circumstances. So if you believe in your heart you are not worthy to be healed, you will end up rejecting your healing without being consciously aware of it. What you believe consciously or subconsciously will always win and decide the outcome of your prayers and your life. When you pray for healing but you believe deep down inside of you subconsciously you are not worthy to be healed, what you believe in your heart will be the faith you act on, not what you pray with your mouth. What you believe in, even subconsciously, will manifest itself in your life.
The Bible says in James 2:10-26 it is easy to change your life, just change what you believe about yourself and your circumstances. Do you want to see a change in your life? Change what you believe about yourself consciously and subconsciously, and change will come.
How do you change what you believe about yourself?
The Bible says in 1. John 2:6, Rev 12:11 if we obey the written law of Moses and believe Yeshua died for our sins, we will become one with Yeshua. In John 15:5 it says if we are in Him we can do everything. So the first step we have to take is to make sure we are in Him by making sure we obey the written law of Moses and believe He died for us.
The Bible says in John 14:13 if we are in Him, Yehovah (God has a name and it is Yehovah) promises to answer our prayers. So pray and ask Yehovah to show you what you believe about yourself and your circumstances. If you are praying and believing for something, but it has not happened yet, ask Yehovah to reveal to you if there is something you believe about yourself that is hindering His answer to prayer.
And then thirdly be willing to change what you believe about yourself and your circumstances.
If you are a mainstream Christian, this might be difficult for you to accept because you have been told time and time again “just believe in Jesus dying for your sins, and He will do the rest. And dont try to do anything, or else you will be frustrating the grace of God.”
The Bible is very clear when it says faith has to show itself in what we do and how we live our lives. So faith without works is dead, faith without works can not save us and faith without works can not affect how we live our lives. The Bible goes on to say, if we dont obey the written law of Moses (not just the moral code but the ceremonial, ritual, civil, food laws and every commandment applying to our gender) and keep our faith in the cross, our faith is dead, and we are not saved. (James 2:10-26, 1.John 2:6, John 1:12, 3:16)
So if you believe in the lie coming from mainstream Christianity that says “just believe, dont do anything, He did it all” you are not saved, and one day you will hear “depart from Me you workers of lawlessness” (Matthew 7:21-23)
You are not saved, and you will never see a change in your life. For this we see in James 2:10-26 is a principle of faith that not only affect our salvation, but it also affects how we live our day to day lives. So if you want to see a change in your life you have to change how you believe about yourself and your circumstances. The only way you can do this is by becoming one with Yeshua through obedience to the written law of Moses and faith in the cross.
If you will do your part, He will do His part, and you will see a change in your life and know for sure you are on your way to heaven when you die.
